The People of the NinePathways

NinePathways was developed by Catherine & Scott Pennington as a way to help people get the most out of life by clearing away the obstacles in their path. Broken into three set of ritual pathways, NinePathways consists of The NineSisters, The NineBrothers and The NinePartners. Each set of pathways explores different aspects of the feminine and masculine divine and their role in our lives.

While the core material for The NineSisters, The NineBrothers and The NinePartners was developed by Catherine & Scott, all the members of the ritual groups have added to our collective knowledge of the divine, and of the NinePathways material.

Scott has a diverse spiritual background with training in the martial arts, shamanism and wicca. He is an Elder in BTW and a licensed Massage Therapist with a private practice in Oakland, CA. For more information on his work please visit his web site: www.improoovements.org

Catherine holds a Masters in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies and has extensive ritual training working in Norse, Celtic, Greek paths as well as Women's Spirituality. She has served as a Priestess of Brigid and Demeter and is currently working in an apprenticeship with Hella. She is also an accomplished liturgist and writer living in Oakland, CA

Scott and Catherine have two sons and are owned by a micro horde of house cats.

In 1995 Catherine founded Magical Acts Ritual Theater and served as the companies Artistic Director from 1995 - 2002. In 1998 Scott joined Magical Acts and facilitated the companies move to nonprofit status with the founding of Magical Acts International Association (MAIA). The NinePathways is a project of MAIA.
